There’s nothing wrong with canceling iPhone subscriptions when they are no longer needed. Sadly, there’s this misconception that when you subscribe to a service via an iPhone, you’re “stuck” with it. But that’s not actually true! If you find that you no longer need or want a subscription, you can cancel it right from your iPhone. Here’s how:
First, open the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap on iTunes & App Store.
Next, tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen. A menu will pop up; tap View Apple ID. You may need to enter your password at this point.
Scroll down to the Subscriptions section and find the subscription you want to cancel. Tap on it.
On the next screen, tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom. You’ll get one last confirmation; tap Confirm to finish.
And that’s it! Your subscription will be canceled and you’ll no longer be charged for it. Of course, you’ll still have access to the subscription until the current billing cycle is up.

How Does Apple Billing Work?
Typically, Apple bills you each month. Your credit card or other payment method will be charged on the 1st of the month, and you’ll have access to the content for that month.
If you cancel in the middle of a month, you’ll still have access to the content until the end of that billing cycle. After that, your subscription will be canceled and you won’t be charged again.
Keep in mind that some subscriptions may have different billing cycles (for example, yearly instead of monthly). In those cases, Apple will prorate your subscription so you only pay for the time you had it.
