UGG is one of the leading companies in the footwear industry. UGG guarantees that its products will be free from material or workmanship defects. It has a warranty that covers defects and faults in material or workmanship.

In this guide, I will share with you everything you need to know about the UGG warranty.

The UGG footwear is covered by a one-year warranty.  In the event of an issue with the manufacturing or materials used, the UGG warranty will normally provide a credit for any of the footwear.

The guarantee is valid for one year from the date of purchase and is applicable to the original purchaser only.

UGG just provides credit for the warranty; it does not provide any repair services. UGG’s return policy is only applicable to products that have been bought directly from UGG. This includes items ordered via the UGG call center, the UGG website, or purchased from UGG-approved merchants.

How to Warranty My Item?

To warranty your footwear, you will have to start the warranty return process on UGG’s website. You will have to get in contact with UGGs customer care support and explain what is wrong with your item so that you can return it to them.

Once the item has been returned, a series of inspections are carried out. Depending on the results from the inspection, UGG will offer you credit in the amount of the purchase price of the product if eligible under the warranty policy.

Differences Between Extended Warranty and Manufacturer’s Warranty

Manufacturers’ warranties and extended warranties differ in the way that the manufacturer’s warranty usually lasts for a short period of time compared to the extended warranty. The extended warranty also covers damages due to accidents or natural forces and can be purchased separately from the item.  UGG, however, does not offer any extended warranty beyond the limited manufacturer’s warranty.

What Is Covered Under the Item Warranty

The warranty covers items such as manufacturer’s defects as well as any difficulties that are due to problems with the material or the workmanship of the footwear. It also covers cases of faults or defects that are caused by UGG or its authorized dealers. It generally provides coverage for any damage or malfunction that prohibits the product from being utilized for its intended purpose. Damage caused by an unintentional accident is not covered by our policy, nor is normal wear and tear.

How to Get Service Under the Warranty

In order to be eligible for service under the warranty, you must first file a claim for the warranty on the manufacturer’s website. You have to contact UGG and tell them why you would like to return the item.   You will then be given permission to send the item to them, where they will examine it and look for any defects that you have previously mentioned. After that, you will be given credit since UGG does not provide repairs for the things in this case. Remember to send proof of purchase along with the item.

What Are the Exclusions From Coverage

Items that have been in your possession for more than a year from the date of purchase are not covered by the guarantee. Therefore, if the item was returned after its warranty period had expired, it will not be covered by the warranty. It also excludes defects resulting from normal wear and tear or water damage.

This policy applies to genuine UGG products bought directly from www.UGG.com, via the call center, UGG Concept locations, or from an approved UGG merchant in good standing. Since UGG is unable to monitor the quality of the goods sold by illegal vendors, this guarantee does not extend to items acquired from unauthorized vendors unless otherwise forbidden by law.

Damage caused by purposeful or malicious behavior or changes made to the item covered within the warranty term is not covered by this guarantee. Any illegal repairs performed on the item will invalidate the warranty, and you will be held accountable for any damages that happen as a consequence of your actions.

How to Start an Online Warranty Repair Claim

Using UGG’s website, you will be able to begin the warranty return process. You will be able to return the item to UGG by clicking the return button on their website. You will be required to submit the invoice number or other documentation proving your purchase. In addition to that, you will be required to provide information about the item, such as its size, color, and version.

Specify the nature of the issue with your item and the reason why you are claiming the warranty. According to their directions, ship the item to them as soon as possible. Usually, the items already have a return label that you may use to send them back. However, you will only get credit since UGG doesn’t offer repairs.

What Warranty Does My Item (UGG) Item Have?

Generally, the warranty period is one year. The limited manufacturer’s warranty provides coverage for items that are purchased from UGG and its authorized dealers. The manufacturer’s warranty only covers those items that are bought from UGG’s authorized dealers.

Any special, accidental, or catastrophic damages resulting from a violation of this warranty coverage, a breach of contract, or strict responsibility are expressly excluded from UGG’s obligation under any conditions.

Who Do I Contact If I Have an Extended Warranty for My Item (UGG Item)

Aside from the limited manufacturer’s warranty provided, there are no further warranties. Therefore, UGG does not provide an extended warranty.  If any implied warranties apply to Items, you purchased, the party you got the extended warranty from should be contacted.

Conclusion

In general, UGG offers a one-year warranty on their products. For a period of one year following the date of purchase by the original consumer, UGG promises that its footwear will be free of material or workmanship faults.

After one year from the date of purchase, all warranty claim goods sent to UGG will be considered on a case by case based basis.

Overall, UGG provides a one-year limited warranty on its footwear goods to the original buyer that the footwear items are exempt from material or manufacturing faults.

If you have a warranty claim that has been submitted to UGG more than one year after the date of purchase, it will be assessed on a case-by-case approach.
